Library to Offer Series of College Preparation Programs

High school students and their parents are welcome to attend two March programs targeting the financial side of college at the Schaumburg Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Registration is required for both of the following free programs. To register, call (847) 923-3347 or visit the Information Desk or Teen Desk on the library's second floor.

"How to Pay for College Without Going Broke" will be held from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 in the Adult Classroom. Experienced professionals from My College Planning Team will share their expertise and offer action steps to reduce college costs at a student's preferred college. Discover strategies to reduce costs and find the best-fit college.

"Financial Aid Award Letters" will take place from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 21 in the Adult Classroom. ISACorps members will discuss various forms of financial aid and how to evaluate financial aid award letters. Using a worksheet, families can examine their financial aid award letters while Corps members provide one-on-one support.
