Mt. FItzroy dominated the scene throughout our trek near El Chalten in the Patagonian region of Argentina. When turning one corner, the stream fed by glaciers from it heights framed this view in spectacular fashion.

This picture was taken in Badlands N.P. this past September. The color was good since it rained earlier in the day. Native Americans fled through the badlands to escape the U.S. cavalry. They reached their safe place south of here. That place was Wounded Knee.
