Linda Nye Artwork at Frisbie Senior Center in November
A triptych watercolor painting of an eagle highlights an upcoming exhibit by artist Linda Nye at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Highway, in Des Plaines during the month of November. Besides watercolors, Linda is proficient in colored pencil and acrylics. The artwork on display will feature her wildlife paintings and a floral piece recently done of an orchid.
The public is invited to an opening reception for Linda's exhibit on Thursday, November 2nd beginning at 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm.
The Frisbie Senior Center is open the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 8:30 am-8:00 pm; every Thursday from 8:30 am-8:00 pm; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 8:30 am-4:00 pm.
