Schaumburg Township To Assist Seniors and the Disabled with Medicare Benefits Enrollment

The Township of Schaumburg Senior and Disability Departments will assist township residents regarding Medicare health and prescription drug plans when open enrollment begins October 15th. Staff members are available by appointment to help review options for 2018 plans until the enrollment period ends on December 7th.

Appointments are free and can be scheduled via phone at 847-884-0030 from 8:30 - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Medicare beneficiaries should bring a Medicare card and complete list of prescriptions including: dosage, medicine type and frequency to the appointment. New plans are effective January 1st, 2018. Additional information is available at medicare.gov or 1-800-633-4227. The Township is not affiliated with any insurance group and does not sell plans.
