We visited California recently, and spent a couple of days in San Francisco. The first day was pretty foggy, but we were lucky enough to have a clear day when we visited the Presidio. I was fortunate enough to get a completely clear shot of the Golden Gate Bridge from the north end.

This photo was taken last week (August 27, 2017). I was sitting on my backyard patio and saw something run through my yard. As I tried to see where it went, I realized he went under the neighbors deck. I ran back to get my iPhone and next thing I know he's posing his head from underneath the step. It was a huge groundhog out during the middle of the day! I live on the east side of Batavia in a totally residential neighborhood and not in the country.

Early evening in the garden. Always so peaceful to watch the bees absorbed in going from flower to flower in their quest for nectar. I love summer.
