Levato Salon & Skin Lab celebrates first year in Hinsdale
Levato Salon & Skin Lab, 29 E. First St., rear unit, in Hinsdale, opened to the public in September 2016 and has already become the highly sought after suburban "hot spot" to get hair and beauty services.
It is celebrating its first anniversary Sept. 15.
With a successful first year in business, the Levato team has much to celebrate.
What has made the Levato become the trendy, sought-after hot spot in the burbs after only one short year in business?
Ashley Carlevato, owner and Master Stylist, attributes the salon's success to the team she has working for her. "We have an extremely talented group of stylists that are passionate, skilled and experienced," Carlevato said. "We are able to get new clients and keep them coming back because our services speak for themselves. Our work is beautiful and the atmosphere of the salon is an added bonus!"
Just a few short minutes of speaking with Ashley, and you can tell how passionate she is about her new business. She had her mind set on creating a salon that was different from other local suburban salons.
"I really wanted to bring the same high-energy vibe you feel in downtown salons out to the suburbs. I knew that the only way for our salon to attract new clients would be to set ourselves apart by offering exceptional service and top of the line products," Carlevato said. "It's a hard promise to deliver, but every member of our team believes in the vision as much as I do. Our space is a fun, fresh atmosphere for our guests that makes them feel like they are at back in the city, without the hassle and inconvenience of actually commuting downtown for their hair."
The eco-friendly salon, which features organic products and ammonia-free hair color, offers both men's and women's haircuts and coloring as well as a variety of skin care treatments. Additional services include lash lifts, lash extensions, airbrush tanning, chair massages, and sugaring- an organic hair removal technique unique to the area.
