I really love this picture of mom looking over her six little babies as they rest on the shore of the pond. I like the way the light makes a nice back drop to the beautiful curves of the mom's neck and body. The cuteness of the six babies sleeping was precious. I was amazed at how close the mom allowed me to get for this photo.

Hello to you nature lovers! I find plenty of wildlife in my backyard in Geneva. There is a wooded area across the street and the river is a few blocks away. Here's a fine little critter I discovered the other day, a baby opossum!

I took this photo while working during Swedish Days in Geneva, IL outside in our Circa boutique tent on Third Street. I saw this dragonfly land on one of the featured artist's pieces on display. She was selling photography cards that paired nature with jewelry. You so rarely see them land for long and I just had to snap the picture!
