Prairie Singers to host spring concert

Sun City Huntley's Prairie Singers will perform its spring concert "Melodies of America" Sunday, June 11.

More than 60 residents of Sun City Huntley join together to produce music. This group has been a part of the entertainment activities of the Sun City community for more than 16 years.

The program will feature a variety of styles, including several old patriotic favorites as well as several generations of songs from our native land. A live band will accompany the chorus. The full chorus relinquishes the stage to their affiliate groups, Prairie Voices and the Sun-Tones, for three additional songs.

The concert will be performed at 3 p.m. in the Huntley High School Performing Arts Center, 3719 Harmony Road.

For ticket information, call (847) 659-1185. Tickets will be on sale at the entrance to the performance. Tickets are $10, $3 for children ages 2-12.
