Dooley celebrates 50th birthday

Current and former students, staff and families had a blast at Dooley Elementary School's 50th birthday celebration May 17. The event, which was organized by the Dooley PTA, featured a variety of activities including an obstacle course, photo booth, book fair, DJ, balloon artists, and a happy birthday throne. Families were also invited to visit their child's classroom for a celebration of reading and writing. To kick off the festivities the time capsule was opened, a new time capsule was sealed and the crowd sang happy birthday to Dudley, the school's mascot.
