Sandy Benson chosen as Woman of the Year by AAUW Naperville Area

Sandy Bensen will be honored at the AAUW Naperville Area annual brunch, May 13, held at Cress Creek Country Club in Naperville, IL. Sandy has had an indisputably valuable impact on the Naperville business and non-profit community. She recently retired from her position as Community and Government Relations with Edward Hospital, a position she held for 25 years. In addition she has served on the Board of Trustees for the Naperville Library, been a member of Naperville Rotary Club and Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce for many years. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Samaritan Interfaith Counseling and founded the Silent Samaritan's program.In addition, Sandy has still found time to devote to her church, St. Raphael's Catholic church where she serves as Chair of the Church Pastoral Council and Liturgy commission.
