Schaumburg Library Announces Lego Design Competition

A Lego Design competition will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 3-4, at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road., Schaumburg. Entries will be dropped off by appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday, June 1-2. This event is open to all ages. To enter an original LEGO creation in the competition, register online at www.SchaumburgLibrary.org/lego for a drop-off time.

Judging of the LEGO creations will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, during which time the viewing area will be closed to the public. Following the judging, viewing and Crowd Favorite voting will take place from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Viewing will also take place from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, followed by an Awards Ceremony. Throughout the weekend, several LEGO-themed activities will take place which do not require registration. Everyone is welcome to enter an original LEGO design, vote on favorites, or just enjoy the exhibit and activities.
