Wheaton Warrenville South High School Student Designs Business Cards

Social responsibility takes on many forms, some bigger than others, but all have a positive impact. Take the story of Jack K., a student in the Advertising and Marketing Class at Wheaton Warrenville South High School. The class was assigned to create advertising campaigns and business cards for a what is usually a fictional company.

Since April is Autism Awareness month, Flood Brothers took the opportunity to give this student some real world experience. Jack worked hard. He did research about the company and learned about its Irish heritage. He designed business cards that utilize the Irish flag colors in a beautifully bold way. The company's management was so pleased with the outcome that they had the cards printed for actual use.

Today, Shawn Flood spoke to the entire class about the advertising and charity efforts of Flood Brothers. After a question and answer period, Shawn presented the business cards to Jack along with a personalized Flood Brothers jacket. "It's impressive at how much care and pride Jack took in his work and we look forward to seeing the ads he's in the process of creating next," remarked Shawn Flood.
