Egg Hunt on the Island is first for downtown Aurora on April 15

Egg Hunt on the Island invites all ages to search for eggs and participate in a number of free activities from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 in downtown Aurora.

The egg hunt is a new event hosted by Aurora Downtown, an organization of business and property owners in downtown Aurora.

The event features a traditional egg hunt on Stolp Island as well as prizes for golden eggs found near downtown museums.

Culture Stock, 43 E. Galena Blvd., hosts free craft tables manned by Hesed House and Community Christian Church. Chalk art is encouraged at Millennium Plaza, 21 S. Stolp Ave.

A welcome table with maps and prizes will be set up at Metropolitan Coworking, 14 W. Downer Pl. Ste. 16. Free digital photos taken by Could Foto are available.

Refreshments and sweet treats are available at Aurora Regional Fire Museum, 53 N. Broadway.

Trolley rides with the Easter Bunny are also part of the afternoon.
