WACO Needs Your Coats

The Woodfield Area Children's Organization is asking the community to pitch in for the charity's annual coat drive. The nonprofit organization is collecting gently-used coats throughout the month of April.

You can drop off your gently-used coats at the following four locations: Corinium Cleaners, 2325 W. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg; McDonald's, 955 E. Golf Road, Schaumburg; McDonald's, 1775 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows; or Rep. Michelle Mussman's office, 15 Weathersfield Way, Schaumburg.

There is a big demand for children's coats, but adult coats are welcome too. WACO is especially interested in warm coats, but will also accept spring and summer coats. If the coats need to be laundered, please do so before dropping them off.

Corinium Cleaners will clean the coats, if necessary, and then WACO will distribute them to disadvantaged families in the northwest suburbs and Kane County.
