Ragged Rascals to bring 'Irish Pub Band' experience to Norris Gallery March 12
Need to get in the St. Patrick's Day spirit? The Norris Cultural Arts Center's "Music in the Gallery" concert series will present an authentic Irish pub band experience at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, when it welcomes The Ragged Rascals for a St. Paddy's Preview.
The Ragged Rascals are one of the Chicago area's most popular and longest-established Irish pub bands, performing authentic Irish folk songs, street ballads, rebel and drinking songs, sea shanties and other traditional music in the style of the Clancy Brothers, the Dubliners, the Chieftans and the Irish Rovers.
Tickets for this family-friendly concert are $15 or $10 for children under 12. They are available online through a link at www.norrisculturalarts.com or through The Norris box office by phone at (630) 584-7200 or in person during regular box office hours of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
Remaining concerts in the 2017 "Music in the Gallery" series include the Northern Illinois University Steel Pan Studio on April 2, the Fox Valley Flutes on April 23, and concert pianist Jeffrey LaDeur on May 14.
