Hear the sounds of Trinity Community Philharmonic

The Community Philharmonic Orchestra of Trinity International University will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in the ATO Chapel on the Deerfield campus.

Conductor Lindsay Riemer leads the Trinity Community Philharmonic Orchestra. She earned her master's degree in conducting from the Royal Academy of Music in London and was previously assistant conductor of the New Philharmonic and DuPage Opera Theatre in Chicago for three orchestra seasons.

Riemer and the orchestra will present a program of romantic symphonic works, including Dvorak's Symphony No. 8, Beethoven's "Egmont Overture," and Sibelius' "Finlandia."

The TCPO is a chamber-sized orchestra comprised of Trinity students and musicians from the community. The orchestra performs on-campus concerts and accompanies musicals, operettas and oratorios performed by the music department.

Tickets are $8 for general admission, $5 for students and seniors and may be purchased at the door or by calling (847) 317-8021. The Deerfield campus of Trinity International University is at 2065 Half Day Road.
