Trinity board honors former dean, affirms future direction
Deerfield, Ill. - The Trinity International University Board of Regents affirmed the school's progress within the past year and honored former Dean Walter C. Kaiser, Jr.
Kaiser served as dean of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School from 1980-1992. A new study room for Ph.D. students in the theological studies program was dedicated in the Rolfing Library in Kaiser's honor.
During its meetings Oct. 22-23, the Board of Regents expressed appreciation for the significant progress in implementing the University's strategic plan, "Heritage & Hope: Trinity 2023." Regents also unanimously supported the 2014-15 Annual Report.
"Trinity International University is blessed with a gifted and dedicated group of Regents," President David S. Dockery said. "We are grateful to God for their leadership and guidance, as well as their commitment to Trinity's distinctive mission."
Four new members joined the Board: Luder Whitlock, former president of Reformed Theological Seminary, Erika Harold, an attorney and 2003 Miss America, Quintin Stieff, a pastor from Des Moines, Iowa, and Jon Dahl, an entrepreneur from California.
