Salted Caramel Magic Chunks

1 11-ounce package caramel bits

1 pound milk or dark chocolate, cut into small pieces

1 22-ounce package Nutty Steph's Vermont Granola, or your favorite brand

1 teaspoon (separated) Fleur de Sel or kosher salt

1 to 2 teaspoons water

Line a 9 x 13 pan with parchment or wax paper

Set aside ½ cup caramel bits.

Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave, being careful not to burn.

Add caramel bits, granola and ½ teaspoon Fleur de Sel, stirring until evenly coated with chocolate.

Press granola mixture evenly into prepared pan and sprinkle with remaining ½ teaspoon salt. Place pan in freezer approximately 30 minutes, or until thoroughly set.

Combine the ½ cup of caramel bits and 1 to 2 teaspoons water; melt, stirring frequently, until smooth. Allow to cool slightly before placing melted caramel into a zip top bag. Cut a small hole in one corner of the bag and drizzle caramel over chilled mixture. Place in freezer an additional 30 minutes.

Remove from pan and cut into 2-inch pieces.

Makes 48 chunks
