October Des Plaines Art Guild Meeting/Demo

The October 14th meeting of the Des Plaines Art Guild (dpag.org) takes place at Prairie Lakes Community Center, 515 Thacker Street in Des Plaines at 7:00 pm and will feature Kimberly Butts, who will demonstrate the process of felted wool embroidery. She creates using a variety of art materials and techniques and is most interested in using the needle felting procedure. Kimberly has a degree in Art Education and Fine Arts from Purdue University. She exhibits her artwork at the Barrington Cultural Arts Center. The public is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served and there is no fee, but donations appreciated.
