Local Artwork Featured at Lynfred Winery

Lynfred Winery in Roselle, Illinois is honored to host the beautiful artwork of local artist Marianne McKoveck. The impressionist-style pieces are featured in the Lynfred Winery VIP Room from June 1-August 31.

Marianne states, "I want my work to be open to interpretation. I start the dialogue, but let the viewers create their own story. I want them to have some fun speculating on what the painting is trying to say. By changing the perspective and the angles, I put the subject on a different plane. This adds energy, and excitement. I want my paintings to tell a story".

Marianne is visual and emotional storyteller. My purpose is to find drama in the ordinary. She uses bold color and offset perspective to infuse her stories with energy and excitement. Landscapes, seascapes, birds, flowers, still life, and figurative compositions are all frequent themes.

Marianne is a member of several art leagues and recently won Best in Show at the Bloomingdale Artist's Association's Spring Member Show.

Stop by the winery this summer and enjoy the work of local artist Marianne Albers McKoveck while sipping wine in the Lynfred Winery VIP Room.

Lynfred Winery, Illinois' oldest and largest, continually-operating family winery is located at 15 South Roselle Road in Roselle, Illinois. Open 10 am to 7 pm daily.
