Algonquin Preschool holds open house, registration

Algonquin Preschool, 109 Washington St., will have its annual open house from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25. Fall registration will begin that day.

Enrollment is open to 2- to 5-year-olds. There are morning classes from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and afternoon classes from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

Algonquin Preschool believes that play is a child's natural way of learning. They provide opportunities for play-based education through a variety of activities, including interest centers, science and nature experiments, story time and sharing, arts, music, and indoor and outdoor large motor activities.

The preschool was established in 1988 as a nonprofit preschool facility located in the educational area of the Congregational Church of Algonquin. The preschool is not affiliated with any religious organization.
