Holiday Cheer Open House @ the Library

]: The West Chicago Public Library District will host its annual Holiday Cheer open house on Saturday, December 7, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. The community is invited to join Library staff for cider and cookies starting at 1:30 pm. Holiday music will be presented by the Chamber Choir from Community High School District 94 from 1:30-2:30 pm and the Wheaton Academy Kantorei Singers from 2:30-3:30 pm. Parents will want to be sure to bring their cameras, as we once again expect a visit from “you-know-who!”

Also featured at this year's event will be the grand opening of the library's History Committee exhibit. This visual display, illustrating library history in West Chicago, will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the opening of the present library location at 118 West Washington Street.

It will be a busy day in downtown West Chicago when Frosty Fest kicks off on Main Street at 4:00 pm. The Library invites everyone to come early, relax, and enjoy this wonderful start to the holiday season. No registration is required for these events.
