Mountain View Adventure Center is Haunted!

Just in time for Halloween, the Des Plaines Park District presents Haunted Hole-O-Ween, a spooktacular weekend of fun, October 25-27, at Mountain View Adventure Center. During the day, the 18-hole mini-golf course will be dressed in its Halloween finest. The waterfalls will run red and golfers should beware of skeletons, witches, snakes, and rats loose on every hole. All children dressed in costume will receive a goody bag.

Beginning at 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday, and 7:00pm on Sunday, live ghosts and ghouls will haunt the course searching for unwilling victims. Bone chilling horrors and things that go bump in the night await the brave of heart around every corner. Watch for the Headless Horseman at the entrance to the course. It is said by some to be the ghost of a Hessian trooper, whose head had been carried away by a cannonball in the Revolutionary War. His haunts are not confined to Sleepy Hollow.

Live haunting time on the course may not be appropriate for very young children. Mountain View Adventure Center is located at 510 E. Algonquin Road in Des Plaines. Hours for Haunted Hole-O-Ween are: Friday, October 25, 4:00-11:00pm; Saturday, October 26, 11:00am-11:00pm; and Sunday, October 27, noon-9:00pm. Admission is $10.
