Breast cancer fundraiser:

Mundelein High School’s 6 p.m. volleyball game against Libertyville on Wednesday, Oct. 9, is a fundraiser for the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, one of the nation’s leading breast cancer research and education charities, based in Chicago. In addition to T-shirt, bandanna/bracelet and ticket sales, a raffle will feature several donated gifts, including tickets to Bears and Blackhawks games. Libertyville fans will also be contributing to the Foundation. Among the many prizes offered in the raffle are a salon and spa treatment, dinner and movie night, a weekend in Chicago, golf, a date night at Park Street restaurant, gift certificates for many area merchants and others. A total of 26 gift baskets will be featured in the raffle.
