Gattone tops field in St. Viator invite

St. Viator senior and Illinois recruit Dana Gattone shot a 71 to earn medalist honors on Saturday in her own school’s invite held at the Deerfield Golf Club.

The next top three scores belonged to Taylor Gentzkow (77), Isabelle Kane (78) and Nicole Wetoska (78) of Loyola, which won the invite with a score of 315.

Buffalo Grove placed second at 334, followed by Glenbrook North (359) and St. Viator (372). Elk Grove placed ninth.
