Ingleside man killed in Fox Lake motorcycle crash

A 29-year-old Ingleside man was killed Wednesday night in a traffic accident on State Park Road in Fox Lake, Fox Lake Police said Thursday.

Marshall Tieman struck a 2001 Toyota Coupe driven by Danielle Culp, 19, of the 200 block of Kohl Avenue in Spring Grove, Fox Lake Police Lt. Mark Schindler said.

Tieman was driving his 1978 Honda motorcycle south on State Park Road when he hit the car as it turned left onto State Park Road near Kohl Avenue, Schindler said.

Its unknown if Tieman was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Tieman was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he was pronounced dead, Schindler said.

The Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team is assisting in the investigation, Schindler added. He said Culp was taken to Centegra Medical Center in McHenry, where she voluntarily provided a blood and urine sample for testing.

No charges have been issued at this time, he added.
