AquaSprites Synchronized Swim Team qualifies for national championship
The AquaSprites Synchronized Swim Team qualified two solos, duet, trio and team for the Age Group Championship in Riverside, Calif., June 21 through June 30.
The routines qualified at Regional Competition held at the Lattof YMCA in May. The athletes are scored on routine swim and figures competition when qualifying.
Members include Mount Prospect athletes Jenna Gudritz, Alice and Katie Kenny and Marilee Stonis; Masha Orzhynska, of Des Plaines; Melissa Danikowski, of Streamwood; Claudia DeArmas, of Park Ridge; Barbara Stam, of Libertyville; Sasha Boudko, of Wadsworth; Megan Moyer, of Barrington and Rhayven White, of Chicago.
