Schaumburg Boomers to honor real-life superheroes

Is there a superhero in your life who deserves recognition? Nominate a special person in your life for the Schaumburg Boomers My Superhero Contest, with winners recognized on Superhero Night Friday, June 21 at the game against the Lake Erie Crushers at Boomers Stadium, 1999 S. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg. Send a 250-word essay about why the superhero in your life deserves to be recognized. Nominees can be selected for any reason, whether personal or public service.
