DuPage Homeownership Center Hosts 22nd Annual Celebration/Receives

Come celebrate 22 years of service to DuPage communities at the DuPage Homeownership Center's 22nd annual celebration!

DHOC will be honoring Joyce Hothan, former Executive Director of Bridge Communities, long-time affordable housing advocate and Board Member of Housing Action Illinois, with the Robert Christ Affordable Housing Award. The event will take place Wednesday, June 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Danada House Atrium, 3 S501 Naperville Road, Wheaton.

Through financial literacy, understanding credit, homebuyer education and one-on-one counseling, DHOC helps DuPage families realize the dream of responsible, sustainable homeownership. DHOC is also on the front lines of homelessness prevention by assisting families in jeopardy of foreclosure to learn their options, work with their lender, and rebuild a solid financial footing.

DHOC also assists seniors with reverse mortgage counseling. DHOC is a 501c3 non-profit housing counseling agency serving all of DuPage. For more about our event and our services, and to purchase event tickets, visit our website at www.dhoc.org.

DHOC was recently honored with the 2013 Illinois Housing Counseling Agency of the Year Award by the Illinois Housing Development Authority for its outstanding work in housing and homeownership counseling.
