Lombard Fire Department Responds to Small Fire at Beacon Hill, No Injuries Reported

Upon arrival at approximately 1 a.m., a small fire involving some clothing and materials in one of Beacon Hill's laundry room of the 2400 building was discovered. The fire was extinguished by Beacon Hill staff prior to the Lombard Fire Department's arrival. Ventilation was provided and the fire and smoke was contained to the laundry area. No injuries were reported. The damage was minimal. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Mutual aid assistance was given by Oak Brook, York Center, Lisle/Woodridge, Downers Grove and Wheaton.
