At Elk Grove: Carly Nolan had 31 kills, 22 digs and 4 aces while Katie Meyers had 59 digs and 3 aces to lead Crystal Lake South to a second-place finish at the Elk Grove tournament. The Gators (17-6) defeated Elk Grove, Barrington, Willowbrook and Lakes before falling to Stevenson 25-22, 25-20 in the championship match. Avalon Nero (22 kills, 21 digs, 5 aces) and Nicole Slimko (19 kills, 7.5 blocks) also contributed for CL South.
