Eagle Scout car wash to benefit Little City
In an effort to raise money for his Eagle Scout project, Saint Viator High School junior Tyler Harris of Boy Scout Troop 335 in Palatine is hosting two carwashes at the Little City Foundation, 1760 West Algonquin Road in Palatine.
The carwashes will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, and Saturday, Sept. 29.
For his project, Harris hopes to build a patio near the family center at Little City.
He also plans to construct a planter box, benches and a picnic table for the patio.
The estimated cost for the project is $3,000.
