Fullersburg Historic Foundation to benefit from Whole Foods' Community Support Day Sept. 19

Shop at Whole Foods Market Hinsdale, 500 E. Ogden Ave., on Wednesday, Sept. 19 where 5 percent of all purchases will benefit the Fullersburg Historic Foundation www.fullersburg.org.

A goal of the Fullersburg Historic Foundation is to raise funds to restore the interior of the c. 1840 historic Ben Fuller Farmhouse, located on York Road across from the Graue Mill, as an interpretive and educational center for visitors and students in the Fullersburg Historic District.

FHF works in partnership with the Forest Preserve District of DuPge County to inform residents about the historical significance of Fullersburg through displays, exhibits and programs, including documented archaeological findings.

Visit with FHF members on Sept. 19 to learn more about the project and to view the scale model of the farmhouse recently constructed by a local architectural student.

Until then, stop by any Fuller's Car Wash to pick up a coupon to bring to Whole Foods Market Hinsdale on Sept. 19 for validation at the register. This validation will entitle you to $5 off a full service car wash (full price is $16.95).
