Retail Activity Gathering Momentum in Seven Bridges Development with New Owners

Retail activity is gathering momentum in the Seven Bridges Development, located in the Village of Woodridge. Acquired in November 2011, the new owners of Main Street at Seven Bridges - BROE Group and Starwood Capital, hired Alter 360 to market the development.

Alter 360 has been aggressively marketing the site which has resulted in the attraction of NUF; a new frozen yogurt restaurant, Cherry Creek Mortgage and most recently Jam ‘N Jelly Café which is expected to open this fall. In addition to the new businesses, activity has remained strong and Alter360 is currently negotiating with several restaurant operators and retail users such as apparel.

These new businesses will join existing successful businesses including Cinemark Theaters, Starbucks, Buffalo Wild Wings, Tilted Kilt, Suparossa, and many other local businesses. Seven Bridges is host to several community events including the Season Starters Race, Trick or Treating at Seven Bridges and special events at the Seven Bridges Golf Club that draw thousands of customers from Woodridge and neighboring communities.

In the short term the owners plan to work closely with the Village to complete various site improvements and look for opportunities to bring additional events to the area. Likewise the Village is excited to work with Seven Bridges' newest owners. “We are proud of Seven Bridges ownership, and Alter360's achievements so far at Seven Bridges, and are excited that the high standards of quality previously established will be maintained and expanded within the development” said William Murphy, Mayor of the Village of Woodridge.

As for the future, Seven Bridges still has nearly 9 acres of vacant property that the owners will look to complete. Community Development Director Michael Mays says “we look forward to working with the new owners on further advancing the Village Board's goal to have a high quality development at the northwest quadrant that supports a strong, diverse tax base, and contributes to the long term success of the Seven Bridges Main Street project.”
