The Fullersburg Historic Foundation will present its 13th Living History Program, “The Early Settlers of Fullersburg and York Township…Their Family Histories and Yours” at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Oak Brook Library, 600 Oak Brook Road in Oak Brook, featuring lecturer, Sharon R. Reif.

Enjoy a glimpse into the lives and descendants of the pioneers of this area, including the Fullers, the Graues and others who first settled here beginning in the mid 1830's.

Sharon's presentation will use methodology endorsed by the Board of Certified Genealogists and the international Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists.

In her research, Sharon has discovered fascinating information about the early settlers of this area known today as Old Fullersburg. Sharon will also include examples of how the audience may use these same methods to research their own family histories
