Parents' Night Out Facilitated at Vernon Hills Y Sept. 14

Parents of children ages 6 months to 11 years can enjoy an evening on their own while the kids enjoy quality activities at Central Lake YMCA. Parents' Night Out takes place Friday, Sept. 14, from 6:15 to 9 p.m.

Instead of trying to find a babysitter for the evening, parents can sign their children up for a fun-filled evening of arts and crafts, games, music, and snacks. The cost is $20 for members of the Y and $30 for community members.

Future Parents' Night Out events are scheduled on the following Friday evenings: Oct. 12, Nov.9 and Dec. 14. The times are the same, 6:15 to 9 p.m.

All programs at Lake County Family YMCA, with branches in Vernon Hills and Waukegan, are designed to encourage the four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

For more information about Parents' Night Out, or to register, call (847) 367-6797 or visit the Welcome Center at Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills.
