Friendship Village hosts 'Get Set 4 Life'

Friendship Village in Schaumburg will be hosting "Get Set 4 Life" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8. The event will feature opportunities to learn about and discuss how to best position oneself for a future of security and happiness.

The four keys to happiness are financial stability, a secure plan, health and wellness, and lifestyle. Get Set 4 Life, which will address all of these areas will include:

• 9 a.m.: Registration and continental breakfast

• 10 a.m.: Informative sessions:

o Financial Security: Learn the economies of a Continuing Care Retirement Community

o Lifestyle: Learn about the vibrant lifestyle at Friendship Village

• 11:30 a.m.: Health and Wellness-Join us for lunch and Humor, Hugs and Hope, as guest speaker Greg Risberg discusses the role that happiness plays in wellness

• A Secure Plan-This panel discussion featuring residents, family members, and associates of Friendship Village, provides a real-life look at how a CCRC benefits older adults.
