Learn about endangered plants at Dixie Briggs June 30

On Saturday, June 30, Northern Kane County Wild Ones will offer a tour of Dixie Briggs Conservation Area in Dundee Township at 10 a.m.

It will be a “Plants of Concern Tour” by Susanne Masi. She is the director of the Plants of Concern program that monitors plants that are becoming increasingly rare, are threatened or endangered of becoming extinct.

Two "Plants of Concern" are being monitored at Dixie Briggs in Dundee Township.

Don't miss this chance to tour this diverse site with remnant prairies and wetlands.

Bring water and sun protection.

The park is near Lawndale Drive and Eastmoor Lane in Algonquin. Park along the edge of the street.
