Mundelein d. North Chicago: In regional action at North Chicago, No. 11 Mundelein swept No. 22 North Chicago 25-9, 25-14.

Blake Burton and John Lentz led the Mustangs (17-18) with 6 and 5 kills respectively while teammate David Everding added 3 service aces. Mundelein setters Ceferino Salazar and Jose Orozco finished with 9 and 7 assists respectively.

Lake Forest d. Antioch: Henry Lamp rolled up 11 kills as No. 15 Lake Forest swept No. 18 Antioch 25-11, 25-20 in regional action at Stevenson.

Lakes d. Waukegan: In regional action at Waukegan, No. 16 Lakes escaped with a 25-14, 23-25, 25-13 win over No. 17 Waukegan.

Lake Zurich d. Chicagoland Jewish: In regional action at North Chicago, Lake Zurich swept Chicagoland Jewish 25-15, 25-11.
