Kudos to American Cancer Society volunteers
There is an old saying that goes, “Some people want it to happen, some wish it to happen, others make it happen.”
Every day, American Cancer Society volunteers are working to make a difference in their communities and in the fight against cancer. In Illinois alone, more than 100,000 individuals donate their time and talents to help people battling cancer, to raise live-saving funds, and to champion the society's mission of ending cancer as a major health problem.
In recognition of National Volunteer Week, the Fox Valley Region of the American Cancer Society would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the committee volunteers of the Relay For Life of Community Unit District 300 for their tireless efforts in making the event such a success — Ginny Wilkin, Kyle Fernandes, Michelle Morrison, Ashley Brooks, Ally Morton, Kylie Patterman, Ashley Almquist, Karen Arreola, Rianna Chupedya, Karen Bachta, Lisa Holbrook, Char Karmis, Dakota Walther, Thomas Breqzinski, Niv Vaughn, Brittne Swanson, Danie Herrer, Dylan Meier, Abbie Paetsch, Krisit Rayas, Daniel Susma, MacKenzie Flamm, Morganne Schmidt, Morgan Vachio, Natalie Starrenburg, Jenna Lenell, Caitlin Lischka, Hannah Rice, Caroline Hutton and Emily Skrzypcynski.
