Schaumburg golf club, course open with improvements

Get ready to swing into another season of golf in Schaumburg.

Schaumburg Park District’s Schaumburg Golf Club and Walnut Greens Golf Course are open for the season.

Tee times now are available online at schaumburggolf.com and walnutgreensgolf.com. Special spring rates are available at Schaumburg Golf Club until Sunday, April 15.

New this year at Schaumburg Golf Club is a remodeled pro shop featuring an array of golf equipment and apparel. Also attractively renovated are expanded banquet rooms and the lobby in the clubhouse.

Other amenities include practice greens, driving range, teaching area and Chandler’s Chophouse. The Academy at Schaumburg Golf Club offers private and group lessons and a player development series for golfers looking to take their game to the next level.

Walnut Greens Golf Course, a nine-hole, par-3 course, offers a pro shop, leagues, lessons and discounted rates for families and residents. The spring schedule includes adult and junior leagues and lessons for juniors.
