Haircuts for Hope to benefit local teacher April 15

Mount Prospect, IL – April 2, 2012: Halo Hair and Nails will be hosting a benefit, Haircuts for Hope on April 15 in support of Linda Frahm. Linda is a local school teacher at Lions Park School in Mount Prospect who has been battling cancer.

Linda Frahm has spent her entire teaching career with Mount Prospect District 57. In a career lasting 27 years, she has enriched the lives of many children in the community. Over the years, she has taught in the first, second, and third grades. Even though she is on leave, she still manages to return to Lions Park School a few times a week to teach lessons to her students. Linda is an extremely committed and dedicated teacher who has committed herself to inspiring her students to be life-long learners.

Linda's deep faith has been instrumental in her positive attitude. Her friends and family have provided a wonderful support system for her as she continues to be an inspiration to all who know her. She has found strength in the 3 F's: Faith, Family and Friends.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Frahm family. Capannari Ice Cream has donated all the ice cream to sweeten up the day. Coupons and raffle prizes will be given out throughout the day also. The day is sponsored by Halo Hair and Nails and Mount Prospect State Bank.
