Friends of the Library to host spring book sale at Algonquin library

Submitted by Friends of the Algonquin Area Public Library

The Friends of the Algonquin Area Public Library will hold its Spring Book Sale March 14-17. It will be held at the Library’s Eastgate Branch location at 115 Eastgate Drive, Algonquin, a half-block off Route 62.

The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that raises money through three book sales per year and the in-house Book Nook. Most importantly, all the money collected directly benefits the library.

All of the sales are listed and consistently rated exceptional on Book Sale Finder, booksalefinder.com

Come see the 30,000 items ready for browsing. They have books for children to seniors. Teachers can stock their classroom libraries, librarians their school libraries — or your own personal library. This book sale will offer something for everyone.

Visit the “Book Bistro” hospitality room next door to take a break during your shopping where gift books and jigsaw puzzles are available for purchase.

The sale will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, with a $10 entry fee per person this day only; 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 15; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16; and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17, half-price day.
