Upset McConnaughay disavowed STOP

I was very disheartened to read Karen McConnaughay’s retort to the endorsement by STOP for her opponent Cliff Surges this week. That Mrs. McConnaughay, now experienced in representation, could say anyone’s opinion is irrelevant is strange and sad. How clearly it defines her political character. Every voter, every entity, has a relevant voice, Mrs. McConnaughay.

The PAC known as STOP has remained significant as a watchdog entity of volunteers who have nothing to gain but the desire to maintain property rights and ethical and honest government at the grass roots level. STOP has never disbanded as Mrs. McConnaughay suggests. Mrs. McConnaughay abandoned STOP.

STOP continues to evaluate legislation, collaborate with former and current elected officials on issues and protocol and has regularly endorsed candidates who are validated as honest, forthright and independent.
