Caring for aging parents:

State Rep. Carol Sente will host a Children of Aging Parents Symposium from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27 at the Highland Park Health and Fitness Center in Buffalo Grove, 1501 Busch Parkway. Attendees will hear from experts in the field about how to handle the legal, financial, and emotional issues that arise while caring for aging parents, including an explanation of power of attorney and advice on appropriate and effective care and housing.
