St. Edward gets past Westmont

St. Edward's boys basketball team carried a 7-point lead into halftime Wednesday night then held off Westmont for a 39-37 nonconference win on the road.

Gus Domel led the Green Wave (10-16) with 11 points and Troy Gudino chipped in 7.

Men's basketball

Judson University 62, Purdue University-North Central 59: The Eagles (10-19, 7-6) found themselves ahead by 3 points with 14 seconds to play and turned up the defensive effort to come away with a CCAC victory. Brian Pedersen (19 points), Caleb Sutton (17 points), and Adam Hodge (11 points) all recorded double-digits for the Eagles.
