Environmental committee meets

The Environmental Citizen Advisory Committee will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Vernon Hills High School, 145 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The public meeting will include representatives from Chicago Metropolis 2020, Environmental Law & Policy Center, Illinois Environmental Council, National Resources Defense Council and Sierra Club. Attendees can learn about upcoming environmental legislation and share concerns and ideas with 59th District state Rep.
