Boys basketball/Fox Valley roundup
Alex Glover had 18 points to lead the Jacobs boys basketball team to a 53-45 Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win at McHenry Tuesday night.
Will Schwerdtmann added 9 points and Bradley Cleveland had 8 for the Golden Eagles (3-10, 1-1).
Huntley 44, Crystal Lake South 34: The Red Raiders (13-1, 2-0) started slow in the first half, but turned it up in the second half to earn a victory over the Gators (2-11, 0-2) in FVC Valley action. Justin Frederick paced the Red Raiders with 12 points and 7 boards while Troy Miller and Bryce Only added 10 and 9 points, respectively. Will Ahsmann led the Gators with 13 points.
