Fremd Scholastic Bowl wins third straight title

The Fremd High School Varsity Scholastic Bowl team won the Mid-Suburban League Pre-Season Tournament on Dec. 3 at Prospect High School.

Fremd defeated Buffalo Grove High School in an exciting and hard-fought championship match that ended in overtime after a tiebreaker, tossup and bonus question.

This is Fremd High School's third consecutive preseason MSL tournament title. Out of 120 tossup questions read for the day, FHS junior Ben Lewis was the tournament's top scorer, scoring 29 tossups, while FHS senior Jason Liang was second with 23.
