Addison Trail wins tourney title

Addison Trail defeated Reavis 55-33 Friday to win the Reavis Tournament championship. Vince Beltrano scored 22 points and was named tournament MVP. Sophomore James Pupillo also was named to the all-tournament team for Addison Trail (3-0).

Immaculate Conception 73, Indian Creek 37:

IC advanced to the Westminster Christian Thanksgiving Tournament final at 7 p.m. Saturday as John Cheng scored 18 points and Demetrius Carr added 13.

Fremd 52, Fenton 39:

Adam Kadlec scored 14 points and Collin Wallace added 12 as the host Bison (0-3) fell at the Chuck Mitchell Thanksgiving Tournament.

Wheaton Academy 43, WW South 37:

Drew Sandberg's 11 points and Cameron Harvey's 10 paced the Warriors at the Wheaton Academy tournament. Senior Tim Zyburt scored 17 for WW South, and Matt Kienzle added 13.

Lisle 49, Perspectives 40:

At the Lisle Tournament, Kazim Khan scored 21 points to lead the Lions (2-2) to the victory.

Girls basketball

WW South 64, St. Charles East 46:

Kasey Gassensmith scored 15 points, tournament MVP Meghan Waldron 12 and the No. 11 Tigers wrapped up the championship of the Schaumburg Tournament. WW South (5-0), which led by 30 at one point, went 5-0 at Schaumburg for the first time in coach Rob Kroehnke's 11 years.

Waubonsie Valley 36, DeKalb 28:

Erica Jordan and Shannon Hohman scored 11 points apiece to pace the No. 1 Warriors (3-0) at the War-Hawk Tournament.

Naperville North 52, Minooka 35:

Shannon Bushman tossed in 14 points for the Huskies (2-2) at the War-Hawk Tournament.

Naperville Central 56, Rockford Auburn 33:

Jill D'Amico scored 15 points and Emma Donahue 11 as the No. 8 Redhawks (3-2) rolled at the Naperville Central/Benet Tip-Off Tournament.

West Chicago 72, Queen of Peace 38:

Allie Tapanes poured in 22 points, Claire Monroe 18 and Laura Panicali 13 to pace the No. 14 Wildcats (3-1) at the Lyons Tournament. West Chicago led 25-5 after a quarter and cruised from there. Also at Lyons, Downers Grove South beat Oak Forest 48-39.

Kaneland 32, Immaculate Conception 27:

At the IC tournament championship game, Grace Vitek had 4 points and 8 rebounds and Jennifer Clementi added 7 points and 3 rebounds for the Knights in the loss.
